Light and medium manufacturing in leather goods, textiles, food processing, building materials, and fast-moving consumer goods — with direct access to Northern Nigerian raw material supply chains.

High Priority

Renewable Energy

Exceptional solar irradiation levels make Jigawa ideal for utility-scale solar projects, mini-grids, and off-grid electrification serving both residential and agro-industrial demand.

Emerging Priority

Rich deposits of kaolin, feldspar, limestone, gypsum, and clay minerals present significant opportunities for extraction, value-addition, and downstream industrial processing.
